Chillicothe BOE names new elementary school principal

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - It was business as usual until the Chillicothe Board of Education made a change.

Superintendent Dan Wiebers told KXCV/KRNW that Dr. Jill Watkins received a Masters of Education in Secondary Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University as well as an Educational Superintendency.

Watkins began teaching in 1996 and has been teaching at the middle school and high school level. Watkins will begin her tenure as principal in the 2020-21 school year.
